Creating Sacred Roots

When I worked as a midwife in the hospital, I found that labor and birth were often managed so much by policies, procedures, and routines. It is such a busy environment, and often understaffing leads to providers and nurses being pulled in every direction. Too often, the experience of the birthing person and family becomes secondary to the needs of the hospital.

In creating Sacred Roots so many years ago, I knew that I wanted to build a space where each family is centered in their prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum experience. This is a place where we pause and really listen. We work with you to create an experience that honors your hopes and desires.

Your pregnancy and birth experience belong to you. Not to me. Not to the hospital. Not to the birth center. Sacred Roots was created with you in mind.
